Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Returns to Thailand for Another Exciting Year
Chefs from all over Asia were honored February 21, 2017 at the fifth edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants at the W Hotel, Bangkok.

Chef Umberto Bombana was honored with the 2017 Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award. The Italian chef has called Hong Kong home for the last 25 years, thrilling diners at his signature restaurant 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana.
Thailand’s own Gaggan claimed the No. 1 spot for the third year in a row. The host country was also represented on the list by Nahm (No.5), Sühring (No.13), Bo.Lan (No.19), Issaya Siamese Club (No.21), Eat Me (No.31), The House on Sathorn (No.36), Le Du (No.37), and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Bangkok (No.40).
