Winners of the Diners Club International Pro-Am Classic 2015

The 24th annual Diners Club International Pro-Am Classic took place at the Fairmont Zimbali Resort, situated inside the exclusive Zimbali Coastal Estate on the Dolphin Coast just north of Durban, South Africa, during the third week of November. The tournament included 16 teams from 11 franchises.

Serbia came out in the lead, with Colombia as the runner-up, followed by both South Africa teams in third and fourth places.

This prestigious golfing event attracts some of the finest players from around the world. These special guests were treated to four days of world-class dining and five-star accommodations, culminating in a gala dinner and awards ceremony to celebrate all participating teams and honor this year’s winners, and was played on two courses.

Diners Club franchises held local tournaments earlier this year, where the winners won the ultimate prize of representing their country in a two-day tournament. Each team included one professional and three amateur players. The tournament consisted of one practice round and competition rounds, played on two courses.

The tournament courses are both gems of the North Coast. The par-72, 6,524-meter (7,135-yard) Zimbali Country Club, designed by former British and South Africa PGA champion Tom Weiskopf, offers irresistible ocean and forest views, exceptional water and wetland features and an inspiring natural setting. Umhlali Country Club is a world-class 18-hole golf course located on the North Coast of Kwa-Zulu-Natal. This par-72, 5,948-meter (6,504-yard) course tests the skills of competitive golfers while pampering them with manicured fairways leading to Super Dwarf Paspalum greens.
