Diners Club International® hosted clubmembers from across the globe October 2 – 6, 2022 in Girona, Spain to participate in their annual 36-hole Pro-Am Classic Golf Tournament. This year’s celebration was particularly special as it marked the 30th anniversary of the Pro-Am Classic for Diners Club. In honor of the anniversary, this year’s tournament was held at PGA Catalunya Golf & Wellness Resort in Girona— whose Stadium Course was voted #1 in Spain and #4 overall in continental Europe in 2019.

Each year, participating clubmembers are selected from local pre-qualifying golf tournaments for a one-of-a-kind golfing experience, complete with luxury accommodations and exceptional dining experiences. It provides an opportunity for attendees to meet others from around the world, building a sense of camaraderie through their mutual love of golf, dining and travel. In addition to the 36-hole tournament, this year’s Pro-Am Classic featured a poolside reception at the resort, a Spanish fiesta, and an official gala and prize-giving ceremony. The Spanish fiesta, held the second day of the event, featured a full multi-course meal curated by the Roca Brothers, who are known for inventive variations on traditional Catalan recipes and their award-winning restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca.
