What Does Success Look Like? The EMEA Regional Conference

In the words of Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress and working together is success.” This year, the Diners Club International® Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regional Conference took place in Rome from May 6-8, 2014 with the theme “Inspire Action, Accelerate Growth.” We brought together over 100 business leaders from over 30 countries representing our acquiring and issuing partners.

Attendees heard a number of keynote speakers, including Executive Vice President of Discover Payment Services Diane Offereins, share their thoughts on the changing payments landscape and where our business is going in the future.

Diners Club partners also had the opportunity to network and acquire new ideas through collaboration and brainstorming. Through breakout sessions and individual meetings, new franchisees were able to learn from more experienced franchisees, walking away with helpful knowledge and shared opportunities.

These strong partnerships are critical to our business and, as we explore new frontiers and emerging payment solutions together, we’re more equipped to adapt to the ever-evolving tools of commerce. We are a club, not just a company, and one that provides a global outlook while being mindful of local needs.
