Italy Taste Festivals
If you’re interested in Italian cuisine and planning on being in the Eternal City at the end of September, there is one event you can’t allow yourself to miss.
Taste of Roma is an annual cooking festival bringing together the hungry public and some of Rome’s most celebrated chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists. This is a rare chance for you to rub shoulders with some of the most inventive minds of the city’s culinary scene.
The event will be held on September 21-24 in the stunning Auditorium Parco Della Musica, where 18 chefs will fiercely compete with each other for you to decide which is dish is your favorite. And don’t forget the activities included in the price of admission are: cooking shows, wine and cocktail master classes, and more.
How Taste of Roma Works
The standard ticket costs 16 euros (14 euros for the Saturday lunch session only). In addition, you need to get a “Sesterzio Card.”
Each Sesterzio (a tribute to the currency of Ancient Rome) equals 1 euro, but the minimum increment to charge your card is 5 euros. Each gourmet dish costs from 6 to 10 euros – a true bargain considering the caliber of chefs cooking for you.
