No. 4 Central, Lima, Peru

Central climbed up from No 14. to No. 4. Helmed by Chef Virgilio Martinez in a stylish, contemporary setting, Central highlights Peruvian products with hints of the chef’s global training. Diners Clubmembers enjoy a complimentary Peruvian pisco-based cocktail per guest, access to the exclusive Private Dining Collection 5-course menu, a table visit by Chef Virgilio or Pia, and unique restaurant private tours in the Chocolate Cellar, Spice + Salt Room, onsite Organic Garden and Mater Inciativa’s Experimental Table, and preferred reservations.

No 33. Aqua, Wolfsburg, Germany

Located at The Ritz Carlton in the German city of Wolfsburg (home to Volkswagen), Aqua is situated in a modern, elegant setting overlooking a garden knoll. Using a creative cooking style, Chef Sven Elverfeld creates modern European cuisine with a striking visual flair. Diners Clubmembers are personally welcomed by Chef Elverfeld in the kitchen for a complimentary champagne aperitif. In addition, Diners Clubmembers are entitled to Aqua’s 9-course menu with wine journey for only Euro 390.

No. 34 Le Calandre, Rubano, Italy

Le Calandre climbed up from last year’s position at No. 46 to No. 34! Modern meets classic at this sophisticated restaurant from Chef Max Alajmo. Diners Clubmembers receive a complimentary aperitivo upon arrival.

No. 52 Time Raue, Berlin, Germany

Time Raue won the No. 52 spot in The World’s Best Restaurants for the second year in a row! This Berlin-based restaurant dishes up Asian cuisine inspired by European techniques in a stylishly modern, urban setting. Diners Clubmembers, enjoy a complimentary culinary gift from Chef Raue at Time Raue.

No. 60 Hedone, London, UK

For the second year running, London-based Hedone has won the No. 60 position on The World’s Best Restaurants. With one Michelin star, Chef Mikael Jonsson’s establishment has a unique-ingredients focus and a menu that changes daily. Diners Clubmembers are treated to a glass of champagne per guest upon arrival, in addition to a signed menu. Parties of up to three guests will be seated at the counter to watch the chefs at work. Four or more guests will have Chef Jonsson as their personal waiter and chef!

No. 84 Sepia, Sydney, Australia

Chef Martin Benn’s Sepia won No. 84 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Modern Australian cuisine with Japanese elements is the focus here, in a comfortable minimalist dining room. Diners Clubmembers enjoy the benefit of priority reservations, in addition to two complimentary oysters.

No. 85 L’Effervescence, Tokyo, Japan

Things are on the rise for L’Effervescence, which has one Michelin star and the No. 85 slot on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Tokyo chef Shinobu Namae prepares French fare, lending a unique twist to this elegant  restaurant in the Nishi Azabu district. A complimentary aperitif (for up to four guests) is available to Diners Clubmembers.

No. 88 The Tasting Room at Le Quartier Francais, Franschhoek, South Africa

Combining the uniquely African with European in an exciting cuisine, Chef Margot Janse’s casual restaurant, The Tasting room at Le Quartier Francais is located 45 minutes outside Cape Town. Diners Clubmembers enjoy a kitchen tour and priority reservations.

No. 98 Vila Joya, Algarve, Portugal

Austrian-born chef Dieter Koschina combines fish and produce with local products at Vila Joya, an elegant restaurant with a terrace view of the Algarve coastline. Diners Clubmembers, don’t hesitate to enjoy a complimentary upgrade to Chef’s Table, located inside the kitchen, in addition to an autographed keepsake menu from Chef Dieter Koschina and preferred reservations.
